Alpha is an informal, relaxed and friendly way to explore the big questions of life.
It's a perfect way for you to figure out what you actually believe - Is there a God or not? What happens after we die? How do I live a good life?
And the best way to explore what you believe is to talk to other people who are asking the same questions. Alpha offers that opportunity, with a time to eat together, some simple video input on a specific topic (see a trailer below) and then lots of time to talk and listen.
Over the last 20 years 2.5 million people in the UK, and another 13 million around the world, have taken part in Alpha and we run it here in Goudhurst and Kilndown - over the last 4 years nearly 200 people from local villages have taken part.
We've got two Alpha groups starting soon. On Thursday 12 January, an evening group begins, meeting from 7:30-9:30pm.
On Tuesday 21 February a second group begins, meeting in the morning from 9:15-11:15, with coffee and pastries. This group will offer child care for pre-school children.
If you're interested in finding out more, or in coming along to either of these Alpha groups, contact Ali Williams on 07944 776008 or firstname.lastname@example.org
